The Violin Concert

Trying to keep life as normal as possible for this little Peanut, while planning a trip that will dramatically change her life.  She was explaining to me today how she will teach Jackson not to litter.  She will say "Jackson, you should not throw paper on the ground because it will turn the earth into a junkyard and who wants to live in a junkyard?".  She will not yell at him or say NO because if she does that he won't understand why he should not litter.  Smart kid.
This picture is from her first Sudzuki violin concert and the performance brought tears to my eyes.  Happy tears, she played well.

Can't wait to meet this little guy

Trying to figure out this blogging fun, here I go.

We are finally going to China, Friday May 6th, Newark to Beijing and then on Sunday May 8th, Beijing to Chengdu to meet this little one named Jackson.  What a wait we have had (LID May 14th 2007) and I am so excited to wrap my arms around him and never let go. I also have a stomach full of butterflies and a million things to do before we leave.   Last minute shopping, lists and schedules to leave with my dad & Ivy (staying home with Hannah), the dreaded packing and trying my best to remember everything I don't want to forget.  I would love a cup of coffee right about now but I know I would regret that in about 3 hours......
